ABOUT THE 992-GENERATION 911 CARRERA S
The 992 is the eighth generation of the Porsche 911, and it arrived in 2020 as one of the most significant evolutions the model has ever undergone. While the 911 has always worn the same silhouette — rear-engine, rear-wheel drive, unmistakably Porsche — the 992 generation brought with it the most sweeping technological overhaul in the nameplate's history. Wider front and rear tracks, a dramatically updated chassis, a new 11-inch touchscreen, a fully redesigned instrument cluster, and a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter flat-six that produces more power with greater efficiency than anything that came before it. This was Porsche raising the bar on itself, and they cleared it by a considerable margin.
The Carrera S sits one rung above the base Carrera in the 992 hierarchy, and that step up is meaningful. The engine displaces the same 3.0 liters but breathes through larger turbochargers, producing 443 horsepower and 390 lb-ft of torque routed exclusively through the rear wheels via Porsche's 8-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission. The result is a 0-60 mph time of 3.5 seconds — 3.2 with launch control engaged — on the way to a 191 mph top speed. These numbers are delivered from a car that is equally capable of sitting comfortably in traffic or crossing a continent in composed silence, which is precisely what has made the 911 the benchmark by which every other sports car is measured for over six decades.
The 992 also introduced a steering ratio up to 11% more direct than the previous generation and a significantly wider rear stance — 72 inches across the back — that gives the car a planted, authoritative presence both visually and dynamically. Porsche got everything right with this generation, and the Carrera S with rear-wheel drive remains the purist's choice within the lineup: the version that prioritizes driver engagement above all else.
THIS CAR
This particular example is, in short, about as close to a new car as you will find in the 992 market. With just 4,851 original miles, maintained in Florida under a clean CARFAX history, just freshly serviced, and wearing a full Paint Protection Film installation, this is a Carrera S that has barely been used. The entire car is effectively preserved in near-new condition, which makes the options specification all the more significant — this is not a base car that happened to stay garaged. It was ordered at the top of the configurator and then barely driven.

The options list on this car represents over $52,000 in factory-installed content on top of an already substantial base price, and every dollar of it is accounted for in the right places. The Aerokit adds the more aggressive front and rear fascias along with the larger active rear wing — the visual transformation is substantial. The carbon fiber roof shaves weight from the highest point on the car, lowering the center of gravity and delivering the two-tone exterior appearance that is one of the most sought-after visual options on any 992. Carbon fiber exterior mirrors carry the theme through to the doors. Sport Design side skirts tie the stance together at the rockers.

The RS Design 20-inch front and 21-inch rear wheel package is the correct fitment for the S — staggered sizing, wide rear, and a look that fills the arches without looking overwrought. Deviated clear taillights update the rear light bar with a distinct, smoked appearance unique to this configuration.

The chassis package on this car is exceptional. Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) equips the car with electronically controlled adaptive dampers that adjust continuously to road conditions and driving inputs — the difference between Normal and Sport modes is night and day. Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCC) adds active electromechanical anti-roll bars that virtually eliminate body roll in cornering, allowing the car to carry speed through bends with a composure that still catches experienced drivers off guard. Rear Axle Steering — the option that most dramatically transforms the way a 992 changes direction at speed — completes the chassis package, making the car feel measurably more agile in fast corners while adding stability at highway speeds. Together, PASM, PDCC, and rear axle steering form the most complete chassis option package Porsche offers on the Carrera S, and all three are present here.
The Sport Chrono Package adds the mode switch on the steering wheel, PSM Sport Mode, dynamic engine mounts, and launch control — and brings the 0-60 run down to 3.2 seconds. Front Axle Lift rounds out the practical performance options, raising the nose at the push of a button to clear driveways and speed bumps without worrying about the front splitter.

Inside, 18-Way Adaptive Sport Plus seats provide the ideal balance of lateral support and long-distance comfort. The Stitching Interior Package adds contrast stitching throughout the cabin. Porsche Crest embroidery on the headrests is a detail that signals the level of care that went into optioning this car. Under-door puddle lights, Porsche Dynamic Light System Plus (PDLS+) adaptive matrix headlights, power folding mirrors, Comfort Access keyless entry, front and rear park assist with surround view camera, and full connectivity round out a cabin that is as complete as it is understated.

This is a genuinely exceptional 992 Carrera S — low miles, a full and expensive options sheet, fresh service, and protected paint from new. These do not come together often in this condition at this mileage.
